James Stultz v. A-Z Administration Co. (2011)

Hanan M. Isaacs represented Plaintiff-client in this Family Medical Leave Act case after his employer fired him for taking leave from work to care for his infant son who suffered a life threatening illness. Plaintiff’s employer had assured him that his job was secure and even told him that taking care of his family should be his first priority, but then the employer changed its mind and accused Plaintiff of abusing the company’s leave policy. After intensive negotiations and intervention of a federal magistrate, Plaintiff settled his case amicably for an undisclosed sum.
