George Rafferty v. XYZ Insurance Company (2011)

Hanan M. Isaacs represented Plaintiff-client in a claim against Plaintiff’s former employer, an Insurance Carrier. Plaintiff, a “whistleblower”, advised his superiors of substantial suspected corporate wrongdoing. XYZ initially supported Plaintiff’s pursuit of the wrongdoers, but later fired Plaintiff for filing “unsupported claims”. Plaintiff sought vindication and fair compensation for 12 years. In 2011, he finally got both. Plaintiff settled his case amicably for an undisclosed sum.
