Hanan M. Isaacs represented Defendant John Wilson on his motion for post-judgment relief to terminate his alimony obligation to Linda Wilson. Although Mr. Wilson suffered from ALS, his former wife refused his attempts at discussing a termination of alimony. Mr. Wilson was forced to file his motion for changed circumstances relief based on his ALS and inability to continue to work and earn an income. After filing the motion and receiving an interim order from the Judge telling the parties to enter into protracted discovery and prepare for a plenary hearing, we were able to settle the case favorably for our client and the parties entered into a final consent order.
